The Addison County Regional Planning Commission (ACRPC) consists of delegates and alternates appointed to the Commission by the legislative body of each of the region’s 21 municipalities.
About the Commission
Larger municipalities may be represented by up to three delegates. Smaller municipalities appoint one delegate. Municipalities appoint delegates and alternates to the ACRPC shortly after town meeting for a one-year term beginning July 1st of each year. Alternates exist to act in the shoes of the delegate if an appointed delegate is unable to attend a meeting.
Both delegates and alternates participate in ACRPC’s committee structure and are encouraged to attend meetings and participate in work on and discussions concerning the Region’s business.
ACRPC serves the 21 towns of the Addison Region and provides assistance on a range of community development activities and issues. Browse the communities of Addison County with the map.
