At its regular monthly meeting held on September 9, 2026, the ACPRC Full Commission voted to approve the Regional Plan as presented in the most recent update (linked below). Watch the 9/9/26 meeting
The Plan will now be submitted to the Land Use Review Board (LURB) for review and final approval by the State of Vermont.
The current ACRPC Regional Plan Draft was revised based on feedback received from three public hearings: February 2026, June 10, 2026, and July 8, 2026. A public input form for open comments from all community members was available on our website from February to July. The public comment period is now closed. See below for more information on the process.
The original draft was submitted to the LURB on January 23, 2026. Additional Plan application materials submitted for State approval can be found on the LURB website.
Above is the current draft of the Addison County Regional Plan. In accordance with Vermont statute, this draft was open for public comment from February through July 17, 2026. Public comment is now closed.
> The final plan was approved on September 9, 2026. The plan will subsequently be submitted to the LURB within 15 days for its final review.
